IN MEMORIUM ~ CAROLYN JAGODITS (South
Bend) 1935 – 2008
Carolyn became a member of Indiana Wildlife Artists in 1985. She received
special recognition for her work at the 1984 National Artists Seminar in
Chicago and she consistently earned merit awards at our exhibits. She was
Vice-president of IWA in 1987, then succeeded to the Presidency. She
produced artwork for two sets of notecards, designed the poster and
invitations for the 1990 Annual Exhibit at Indianapolis and remained an
active, contributing member until Parkinson’s Disease began to take a toll.
An amazing artist, she helped people everywhere to see and know the wonder
of nature. Her art will live on to continue that legacy and the world will
be better for her having been here. The 2008 ANNUAL EXHIBIT at The Honeywell
Center in Wabash will be dedicated to Carolyn.
