OUR JUDGES FOR 2011

Kim M. Reiff, Fine Arts Judge

Kim earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in Visual Arts from Azusa Pacific University, Azusa, CA. She also holds a MBA degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Indiana University. She is Assistant Professor and Art Department Chair of Grace College in Winona Lake, IN.

Her extensive professional career in the graphic arts includes positions as graphic designer, art director, print production manager, and manager of marketing communications in the biomedical field. She currently teaches Graphic Design, 2-D Design, Illustration Fundamentals, and Computer Graphics. In addition she is a member of Artlink Contemporary Art Gallery, Lakeland Art Association, CIVA, and AIGA.

Randy Showalter, Naturalist Judge

Randy is a Purdue University graduate with a B.S. degree in Wildlife Science and is a lifelong resident of Wabash County Indiana.

He has been employed with the National Wild Turkey Federation for the past 17 years. Seven of those years spent as a regional wildlife biologist covering Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Ontario.  The previous 10 years were spent as a regional director on the fund raising side working with NWTF chapters in Indiana.

Before joining NWTF he spent 22 years working for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Division of Reservoir Management and the Division of Fish and Wildlife.  The last 15 years were spent supervising private lands biologists in northern Indiana.
